Downloading the logical data model will jump start development of databases, allowing developers increased efficiency, shorter timelines, and lower risk than otherwise possible.  With appropriate use, this logical data model will ensure compliance with the Specification.

Developers may also save time by downloading reference table data to populate their look-up or system reference tables.

The second section provides design tips and the rationale behind various features of the Specification model.

The Solutions Repository is a living library of user-provided data structures and patterns that they are willing to share with other users.  Contributors place these solutions, patterns, etc., into the public domain for the benefit of the health professions as a whole.
