Place cursor over the name of the file you want to download from the selection in the left sidebar.  Right click and from the menu displayed click on "Save Target As" and specify the destination folder on your system.  You should not change the filenames.

ERWin Logical Data Model

Using the instructions above, download the ERWin .er1 file to your destination folder.  At this time the logical data model is only available in this format.  To use this logical data model, you will need a licensed copy of the ERWin data modeling tool.  If you need a copy of this CASE tool, visit Computer Associates www.ca.com or phone .

Reference Tables

A number of reference tables are provided to assist developers and users.  These tables are in a comma delimited 2xN file format that can be easily used by commercial or custom-coded table loaders.

Many of these tables are derived from existing standards, such as ASTM E1633, and users should purchase these standards to obtain additional information on the use of this reference data.  Some of these tables are the foundation to controlled vocabularies and contribute toward cross-system interoperability and exchange of health information using HL7 Version 2.x and the future Version 3 messaging standards. 

Since each implementation is very much a unique product, developers can individually select those tables they desire by following the Download Instructions above.
